An All American Neighborhood

We are a residential association whose mission is to promote awareness of Bayou Oaks, to promote, enhance, and unify the neighbors, and to foster communication and understanding among the residents of the neighborhood.

Bayou Oaks is bounded to the north by University Parkway, to the west by North Tamiami Trail, to the south by Martin Luther King, Jr. Way, and to the east by Lemon and Central.

We are a diverse neighborhood, being 18% African American, 18% Latino Americans, 10% Asian Americans. So, we’re just over 50% European American.
